2x4 Systems
While the 2 x 4 guardrail system is one of the most traditional systems available, Fall Safe Solutions has taken the system to a whole new level in an effort to make it more versatile and user-friendly.

The result: a system that allows it to be adapted to nearly every fall exposure area. This is made possible by combining the use of Fall Safe’s specially-designed metal boot with the 2 x 4 guardrail. Once the bottom or side-mounted metal boot is securely anchored, the 2 x 4 safety rail easily fits into the custom-made metal boot.

The wood safety rail can then be simply lifted out of, and then reinserted into, the metal boots when rails need to be temporarily removed. Weep holes have been incorporated into the boots allowing for water drainage, hence preventing the wood 2 x 4’s from swelling when resting in rain-water filled metal boots.

Both 2 x 4’s and metal boots are installed and sold in bright yellow to present a safe and professional appearance and to prevent other trades from disassembling the system to use the 2 x 4’s.
